Attention: The .pigeon project is dead. It was part of our participation in the ImagineCup 2005 competition. I'm just publishing this to show how horribly ahead of time our thinking was back in 2004, compared to efforts that I see now at Google and Microsoft.
I should also point out that they still haven't reached our levels of functionality. While I understand the reasons why this is so, I still have the right to gloat :) .
What is .pigeon ?
.pigeon (pronounced dot-pigeon) is a multimodal translation proxy for Live Messenger networks. All you have to do, is add the .pigeon contact in your conversation with another person. The bot will ask each of you some questions, and from that point forward, will translate each message you send to each other, be it in text or voice and so on.
Also with .pigeon a client application for Windows Mobile smartphones is provided, providing an even more sleek and seamless experience.
Presentation
Try to click inside the slide area instead of the bottom controls, so you won't loose the animations. They're important, not just preety. If at some point you can't progress (like at slide 2 and the second to last) that means the player is loading some huge video.

In the link below you will find the executive report, videos and the presentation.
Well does it still work ?
Bizzare as it sounds, most of it still does. The same code. I still have the code. I don't have the incentive to do anything with the code, so no you can't have it.
